About Illini Truck & Trailer
Illini Truck & Trailer is a family owned and operated business in Carthage, Illinois. Owners, Rick and Chris Wisehart, both grew up in Hancock County, Illinois and currently reside in Carthage. After running a trucking inudstry for over 25 years, the Wiseharts saw a need for efficient and reliable heavy duty truck repair in the area as they were needing repairs done on their personal semis. Often they had to travel a great distance to find shops available to work on their trucks.
What started as a solution to that problem has grown into a full scale automotive and tire shop servicing semis as well as passenger vehicles, cars, trucks, and even side by sides. Illini Truck & Trailer is a member of the Carthage Area Chamber of Commerce.
Rick and Chris also own an over the road trucking company — Wisehart Investments, an excavation business — Wisehart Land Improvement, and a home decor store — Berry Creek Creations.
